I like these guys. A friend and I stopped here and ordered fallafels and frites. They handed me a bag and we took off back to the apartment. In the bag were only fries. Off I went back. Huge line when I got there. Went to the front of the line and the guy taking orders said, “Why did you leave without your fallafels? I was running after you but you didn’t hear me.” They made up fresh ones and off I went. Delicious dinner.
My last blooming rhododendron from May. I entered a 16×24″ of this in the upcoming Humboldt Photography Exhibition. It’s from my front yard. I’m always amazed at the flowers I get as I don’t water at all. Go figure?!
Every time I go out to Dry Lagoon, I see something new. The rocks and grasses are my current obsession when I go there. I entered a 16×24″ of this on Red River Palo Duro Softgloss Rag in the upcoming Humboldt Photography Exhibition.
We will be back to our regularly scheduled programming shortly
This is Dave Schumaker on Christmas Eve, 2010, at the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Yesterday morning we had coffee. This morning, his wife called to let me know that Dave died in his sleep last night.
A rose from my front yard this morning. Focus stacked 16 images from my new macro setup. While playing with textures, I turned the rose blue. Which made me think of the play The Glass Menagerie because of the misinterpretation of pleurosis.
