Trying out a new workflow on an old photo. The translucency of the petals turned out well. Hope you like it.
Here’s a “cleaner” version of yesterday’s post. Was playing around this morning and came up with an interesting idea. Yesterday’s image is a component of this one.
From the lower outside wall of the house I lived in in Fieldbrook seven years ago. Surrounded by a forest of redwood, alder, fir, and spruce.
Flowering will be over pretty soon and I can get back to other things. Right now I’m thinking I’ll do a series called Rural Urban Landscapes … or maybe Urban Rural Landscapes. Probably the latter as it seems more appropriate.
Early in the morning at the Arcata Marsh. Click on the image to see it bigger.
Went out to the Arcata Marsh a little before 7 this morning. Learning how to focus my Canon EOS M with a Leica 50mm Summicron and Magic Lantern. ML’s edge highlighting didn’t help much. Using Live View in magnify mode really worked well. Halfway around the lake, there was a patch of these morning glories. I don’t think I’d ever seen white ones before.
