Today’s B&W Backyard Fern
I shot this as wide open as I could to get a shallow depth of field. Not sure why I did that. Glad I did. Somewhat creepy as Mary Ann would say. The color rendition I did was fine. This is much more impactful. Thanks for looking.
Fractures at Dry Lagoon
Every time I go out to Dry Lagoon, I see something new. The rocks and grasses are my current obsession when I go there. I entered a 16×24″ of this on Red River Palo Duro Softgloss Rag in the upcoming Humboldt Photography Exhibition.
Tower of the Sun
Peas
This is our cook at the White Wolf Lake Hunting Camp a few miles south of the Arctic Circle in the Northwest Territory. In the morning, she would tell me how many lake trout to catch for dinner that night. The lake is ice-free for only a few months of the year making the water very cold. We wore float suits whenever we went out in boats. Photograph was taken with film in September, 2006.
