This was 1/30sec exposure to slow the water. Typically, this would look very misty. I used lots of masked contrast on the water to draw out what was going on in the mist.
Two spots on the East Fork of Willow Creek within a spit and a holler of one other. Also, 1.3 seconds versus 0.0025 seconds.
A subset of the Redwood Camera Club went out for a night shoot Friday and braved high 40’s weather. Pam and I went the length of Opera Alley. Then I ventured over to 101 (4th St) to shoot this using a neutral density filter. This was a 25 second exposure.
A 30 second exposure made the choppy Pacific look almost mellow at Patricks Point.
