A rose from my front yard this morning. Focus stacked 16 images from my new macro setup. While playing with textures, I turned the rose blue. Which made me think of the play The Glass Menagerie because of the misinterpretation of pleurosis.
As always, or most of the time, click on the image for a larger view.
Amazing! Even at Thanksgiving, roses are still blooming in my front yard. As I recall, some bloomed every month of the prior year.
This was a photograph of a green tree frog in a rose in my front yard that I converted to B&W. I then colored it with only three colors using the new glazing brushes in Corel Painter 2017. Turquoise had really been on my mind this morning, hence the choice of color. The overall image was a little flat so I added the luminosity and saturation of the original photograph to complete the transformation.
Now that spring has sprung, time to play with flowers and Corel Painter again. This is a Double Delight rose from my front yard. Workflow goes Lightroom > Painter > Photoshop > Lightroom
