I had just made breakfast, looked out the window, grabbed the camera, took two shots, came back in and ate breakfast. My initial interest was just the fence with roof shadow. After I started working on it, I did a portrait crop and came up with a much more pleasing image.
Haven’t posted for awhile. I’ll try to be more diligent about it. I usually post more dynamic parts of the creek. But, this calm pool was synced to my mood.
I shot this as wide open as I could to get a shallow depth of field. Not sure why I did that. Glad I did. Somewhat creepy as Mary Ann would say. The color rendition I did was fine. This is much more impactful. Thanks for looking.
Yesterday, Pam and I headed out to Redwood Creek. Lots of alder, fir, spruce, and redwood. There’s more water flowing in Redwood Creek than Mad River. OK, weren’t rivers supposed to be larger than creeks?
What’s fun about these clouds is that all I have to do is walk into the street in front of my house and look around. As long as it isn’t that boring blue stuff, I usually find something interesting.
